Treaties in Force (on state.gov and Hein Online): Annual publication listing treaties currently in force, with citations and parties.

US Treaties and Other International Agreements (UST): (US Docs S 9.12 and Hein Online): Bound official publication of US treaties 1950-1984.

Texts of International Agreements to which the US is a Party (TIAS): Treaties and Other International Acts Series (state.gov and Hein Online): Newer slip treaties, online only.

Pending and Unratified Treaties:

  • Treaties Pending in the SenateList of treaties submitted to the Senate but not ratified, with citations and links to the Treaty Documents.
  • Congress.gov Treaties: Treaty Documents and status with legislative history actions, date,s and citations, and listing understandings and conditions. You can search Treaty Documents by Congress, status, and treaty topic.
  • Senate Treaty Documents and Executive Reports (GPO FDSys): Treaty Documents are text of the treaty submitted to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee with transmittal letters, and Executive Reports are reports from the committee with analysis, amendments, and reservations. GPO FDSys has official pdfs of the documents.

Other Legislative History Documents (GPO FDSys, Hein Online, Proquest Congressional): Use legislative history sources to find Committee hearings and the Congressional Record for testimony and debate on treaties and agreements.
