Case Law

Using Westlaw, case law relevant to corporate governance can be efficiently located by using the “Cases by Topic” feature of Westlaw Next, then selecting “Corporations” and employing a keyword search. Results can be further restricted by selecting a specific state, the federal court system or a specific federal judicial circuit.

With Lexis, case law relevant to corporate governance can be efficiently located on Lexis by using the Content Type, Jurisdiction and Practice Areas & Topics tabs. Researchers should choose the “Business and Corporate Law” tab.
